FO 10mW Visual Fault Locator (VFL)
Cornet 10mW Visual Fault Locator (VFL)
is a compact laser-based tool used to inject visible red light (typically 650 nm) into fiber optic cables to visually identify faults. It supports single-mode and multi-mode fibers and is compatible with most 2.5 mm connectors (SC, FC, ST).
KEY FEATURES
•Output Power: 10 mW (Class IIIb laser)
•Wavelength: 650 ± 10 nm (visible red light)
•Continuous and pulse modes
•Supports SC, FC, ST connectors directly (2.5 mm ferrule)
•Detects fiber breaks, bends, poor splices, bad connectors
•Aluminum or ABS housing with anti-slip grip
•Compact, pen-sized tool for field and lab use
•Long battery life with auto power-off on some models
